At The Original Pasty House we are extremely passionate about the power of good in the community. On the 19th October 2018 we held a ‘Wear It Pink’ day in our Tavistock shop in aid of Breast Cancer research.

During the day, we baked special cupcakes and our wonderful staff donated all their tips to the donation pot. Our customers were equally generous and happy to contribute, which we are very thankful. We were thrilled to have raised £139.82 for the Breast Cancer charity which will be a small contribution in a larger nationwide effort that day.

Thank you for your ongoing support!

As a business we feel very passionate about contributing to the local community. We feel it is very important for us to put something back into the areas in which we do business.

Our customers are incredibly loyal and wherever we can we try to help them with their fund raising activities by supplying raffle prizes or getting involved in other ways. Through our Tavistock branch we raise money for St. Luke’s Hospice and Heartswell South West. We have also been sponsors of the ‘Son Rise Cup‘ – an amazing local charity football event held over 2 days involving over 4000 participants, aimed at supporting autism sufferers, raising autism awareness and helping other local charities.

We sponser the Peter Tavy Plod, a local running event involving a challenging 5 mile course across the moors and junior fun run. Providing all the runners with Pasty house goody bags, as well as special winners prizes.

Since opening out new Pasty House in Plymouth, we have been involved in numerous fund-raising activities organized by UPSU (University of Plymouth Students Union), as well as supporting the Prince’s Trust by providing food for students on educational retreats.

As well as supporting local charities and events, we also get involved with many of the national fundraising events such as Comic Relief, BBC Children in Need and Wear It Pink for breast cancer research. The staff are always happy to get involved and dress up for a good cause.
